To begin this blog, instead of just putting my first favorite app... I'm gonna go ahead and create a list of some of the basic fundamental apps. These are the apps that I use all the time... where I've had an iPhone for over 3 years now, and once I downloaded these apps, I found consistent use with them, and still use them almost on a daily basis. For explanations of each app and their uses, click on them to go to the App store's explanation of them. I'll put those into my own words when I get some more time :-)
These first Apps I put in my Utilities folder:
1. AroundMe
Find what's around you... whatever you're looking for, banks, apple stores, gas stations, hotels, grocery stores, restaurants, and more. Very helpful when you're not familiar with an area.... or even if you are. I use this all the time!
2. AppBox Pro
The Swiss Army app for iPhone... has several internal apps like these; loan calculator, holiday calendar, currency exchange rates, days until countdown, tip calculator, and more.
3. Bump
Share contacts, music, photos and more from your phone by simply just "bumping" it to another phone. Very handy!
4. Gas Buddy
Find all the gast stations closest to you, or arrange them by price and who has gas for the lowest price! I love saving money!
5. DropBox
Another free cloud storgage location... will probably become obsolete with iOS5 software.
6. DirecTV (Comcast and Dish should also have these if they're your cable TV provider)
7. GoDocs for Google Docs
